At the same time, we realize OBS isn't going anywhere and you would probably like to keep your overlays, settings and fine-tuned stream profiles intact 😉 ...
That's no issue at all, since Virtual Camera mode also allows streaming from your desktop browser on Cherry.tv. Here's how to get everything up and running:

Starting OBS Virtual Camera «-- 🏃 skip here if you've previously configured OBS
Downloading OBS Studio
First, it'd be great if OBS was already downloaded, installed and setup. However, in case this is your first time (or you want a refresher) we've got you covered.
Begin by downloading the latest OBS Studio and install it on your computer.
📌 Don't run OBS Studio after installation is complete. Instead, locate OBS Studio in your Start Menu (#1/#2) and Click "
Run as Administrator" (#3):

OBS Studio will start, and present you with its main dashboard:
Adding a Video Capture Device
At this point, no recording source has been selected yet. To add one, let's proceed by clicking the "
+" icon and then select "Video Capture Device":
In the following dialog, you may assign your recording source with a customized name if you'd like, and then press "
OK":
Next, you'll be presented with a dialog where the most important steps are to select a recording source (#1) and then confirm by pressing "

Starting OBS Virtual Camera
Your OBS Studio dashboard is ready! Press "
Start Virtual Camera" and we'll continue with the Cherry.tv side of the setup process:

Under "
Get ready to stream", make sure you're on "WEB" (#1).Under "
Video Settings" locate "CAMERA" and select "OBS Virtual Camera" (#2):📌 You might have to allow Camera and Microphone permissions during this step. Click "
Yes/Allow" in case this is requested.
Click "
Start Show" and you're live with your browser through OBS Virtual Camera!📌 It's recommended fine-tune your stream in OBS, with web streaming controls used to override resolution settings if necessary.
